The UW Design Class of 2022 is eager to share Design as Disruption, the first senior show back in the Jacob Lawrence Gallery after a two-year hiatus. Our show’s title embodies what the last three years have taught us: design is a means to challenge constraints, solve problems, and surpass expectations. After all, aren’t rules meant to be broken?
This being the last exhibition in the Jacob Lawrence Gallery before the UW Art Building remodel, we are seizing the opportunity to physically disrupt the gallery space like never before. As we move beyond UW Design, we will continue to make fearless design choices, igniting a disruptive current in the creative world.
